New to the tank;
Euphyllia glabrescens. They are meant to replace the symbiose anemone, If this should die.

After initially being restrained in a flat bowl, placed in direct HQI-light, which clearly was not a success, the symbiose anemone is now free-ranging, and may settle down wherever it chooses. Fortunately this have had a positive effect, so that I now have a realistic hope for it`s survival. The Anemone, which was almost snow white on it`s arrival, have now developed a brown tint to more and more of the tentacles. I interpret this as a sign of growing zooxanthelles in their tissue.

Halimeda sp. algae, that seem to do fairly well. They inhabit a piece of rock, which they share with a colony of Xenia polyps, but is apparently pushing these out.

Stylopora sp. This coral was initially shown in the  April gallery. As evident, it has grown since then.

Pocillopora sp. Also this coral was initially shown in the  April gallery, and also this coral has increased in size.

To the left, a
Discosoma sp. disc anemone, to the right, an unidentified polyp. Both are examples of specimens that spontaneously let go from their original spot, and have been swept around by the current, until they settled here.

Unidentified algae. It appeared over the last month, and seem to grow very well. As seen in the picture, planaria are still present in the tank, but seems to have found a reasonable level, without Me having to remove more of them.

Unidentified "bubble-algae". They are, along with other, more round types, becoming a nuisance. I think they look pretty good, but they spread disturbingly fast, and have to be manually removed app. once a month.

Probably
Neomeris sp. algae. They have, after an initially explosive growth, settled down to a fair level, so they are now decorative, without being too obtrusive.

Night shot of the
Caulastraea sp. coral. Notice the tentacles, which in daylight are completely withdrawn.
